FAQ – Nevada P.E. Services
What is required for a Nevada P.E. stamp on electrical drawings?
Nevada law requires each sheet of original plans or maps to be dated, stamped, and signed by the licensed engineer who had responsible charge of the work. Stamped copies must include the cover sheet and first sheet of each discipline (NAC 625.610–625.611).
Can you stamp drawings prepared by someone else?
Yes, after our internal technical review. We never stamp blindly – we verify design integrity and code compliance before applying our seal.
Do you work with NV Energy?
Yes. We routinely coordinate with NV Energy for utility interconnection, metering, and substation requirements.
How fast can you stamp a set of Nevada electrical plans?
Standard turnaround is 3–7 business days. Rush service may be available depending on project complexity and our current workload.
Do you travel to job sites in Nevada?
Yes. We can perform site visits, field data collection, and client meetings across Nevada, with primary coverage in the Reno/Sparks and Las Vegas areas.
What types of documents require a Nevada P.E. stamp?
Any electrical plans, specifications, calculations, or reports submitted to a public authority for permitting, construction release, or as final formal documents (NAC 625.610(8)).
